Pregnancy Yoga classes provide a nourishing experience of calm and relaxation for expecting mothers. To relax, feel present and connect with other women on the same journey

A Pregnancy Yoga Class typically includes:

  • Yoga postures to strengthen the changing body and to alleviate tension or strain in common areas

  • Exercises to promote Pelvic Floor health

  • Breathing techniques and other tools to prepare for labour and birth

  • Deep relaxation in a peaceful and supportive setting

  • Open and compassionate sharing around pregnancy and birth-related topics

Isabelle's foundation training was in classical Hatha Yoga, with lead instructor Bev Porrino at the Elbow Room in Dublin.

Classical Hatha is generally slow-paced and features physical postures held for physical strength and flexibility. This practice also develops mental and emotional resilience. Through Yoga Asana (postures) one can achieve a calm mental state, preparing the body and mind for pranayama (breath work) and meditiation.
